Why I consider the Philippines and Capiz as Paradise? Well, it’s because the place is really a Paradise.
Where can you see a place in the world that does not need battery and alarm clock to wake-up you up in the morning because there’s a rooster or chirping birds that alarms you to wake-up. Where can you see a house walking in the middle of the rice field. It’s only in the Philippines!
Maybe we don’t have a lot of oil or black gold in the Philippines like the Middle East countries but we do have plenty of water for every one and nice climate too.
Maybe we don’t have a chess world champion like Garry Kasparov of Russia and Viswanathan Anand of India but we do have a boxing world champion like Manny Pacquiao.

I currently live in Capiz, Philippines and I consider this place as one of the Paradise of my life. My family was originally from Pasig, Philippines but later after the Gulf War and my father lost his job in Kuwait, we moved here in Capiz.
When my first time here I was really amazed with how affordable and available sea foods here in Capiz. I always request my mom to cook for me “Ginat-ang Tambo”, a young bamboo shoot delicacy mixed with coconut milk and shrimp or prawn. Wow, I really missed those days and that food! 
Here in Capiz I also experienced our house being moved from one place to another place by lifting it by many people. We call it “BAYANIHAN”. This event I only read and see it in books but that was one experience that I can’t forget.
Another exciting thing here in Capiz is theres a lot of place where you can have hiking and have nature tripping without expenses and people here are very friendly to new guys like me. I don’t have any trouble of coping with the new environment even I have a hard time studying the dialect of Capizeño.
Another reason, why I consider this place as a paradise is this is where I met my “love of my life”. This is the place where I got married and have a child and finally this is the place where I really met and known God! Pasalamat nga ako kasi God given me a place where I live very safe and peaceful.
