LTO or Land Transportation Office and BOC or Bureau of Customs are two of the department in government today that is considered to be one of the most corrupt department among the government agencies in the Philippines. You can’t blame people why they perceive this kind of thinking about this agencies. They only based this according to what they experience and heard from other people who experience this kind of corruption inside this agencies. The department is not really the corrupt one but some of the people inside this departments who makes dirty works, build this image of this department.
Today they are facing another controversies about luxury cars that was transported to the Philippines and actually registered and used by some government officials and some “big time” personalities.
They are pointing their fingers to each other! I hope the right person should be punished from this controversy and I hope the government will be serious about this matter and show to us that they are really into cleaning the government.

It’s been several years when the last salary increase happens to the Philippines. The last was 12 pesos increase in the year 1999 I guess. The oil increases, price of rice increases, tax increases and fare increases but still the salary of the Filipinos don’t increase. One of the major reason of the government for not giving the Filipinos the increase they need because they are protecting the interest of investors in the Philippines. They said that increasing the wages of the workers will make business to close because companies can’t afford this increase.
Well Juan Dela Cruz, you needed 500 pesos per day to live properly but you can’t have it. What can you do about it? It seems that problems are everywhere but still you can smile. Keep smiling!

Recently, Philippines invades the world. I’m not talking about conquering a country or what ever war freak idea on your mind. I’m talking about the success of Filipino boxers versus foreign boxers. AJ “Bazooka” Banal, Rey “Boom-Boom” Bautista, “Kid” Morales and Gerry Peñalosa beats their opponents to bag the belt of victory.
This will be another honor for all the Filipinos. It boosts the morale of every Filipinos in every part of the world. We dominate the boxing world and hope the government will make more sports programs that will support other sports not all boxing and I hope the government will have a program for retired boxers that gave honor to the country. Providing benefits for them when they are already injured because of boxing (not letting them die like a dog on the street).
